The story, set in San Francisco, depicts the adventures of Allison Sydney Harrison, a high-school student who teams with her wealthy private-detective father David Harrison to solve crimes. In the pilot episode, Allison and David team to solve the murder of a beautiful woman; the prime suspect is their chauffeur, Pat Rosetti.
